Wrocław's two inner parking zones charge every day of the week, Sunday included, from 09:00 to 20:00. Skip the meter and the bill is 480 zł.
My plan: park once, under the concert hall on plac Wolności, at 50 zł for 24 hours, and walk to the Rynek. Or leave the car free at a park and ride and take the tram in.
Parking in Wrocław: Zone A by the Rynek, or 50 zł a day under the NFM
1. Pay in zones A and B on Sunday
The central paid zone (ŚSPP) has two parts: A around the Rynek and B further out. AnyPark, one of the city's two payment apps, lists both as charging daily 09:00–20:00. The outer zone (SPP, often called C) charges Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 only. ZDiUM, the city's roads authority, says nothing about public holidays, so I'd pay. There's no clean transport zone to register for: in April 2026 the city shelved it until 2028 at the earliest.
2. Count the rising third hour
Zone A is 7 zł for the first hour, 7.30 zł for the second, 7.70 zł for the third, then 7 zł an hour. Zone B is 5, 5.20, 5.50, then 5 zł; the outer zone 3, 3.10, 3.30, then 3 zł. Four hours by the Rynek is 29 zł. A full day there, 09:00 to 20:00, is 78 zł.
3. Pay by app or at the meter
The city lists two apps, SkyCash and AnyPark. Meters take coins from 10 gr to 5 zł and give no change; they also take contactless cards and BLIK, Poland's phone payment. The minimum ticket is 0.50 zł.
4. Don't gamble against 480 zł
Not paying costs 480 zł, or 240 zł if you settle within seven days. Overstaying a ticket is 288 zł, or 144 zł within seven days. The amounts are pegged to Poland's minimum wage, so they rise when it does.
5. Park under the concert hall
Interparking's car park under the National Forum of Music never closes: 8 zł an hour, 32 zł for four hours, 50 zł for 24, with 623 spaces and a 1.90 m roof. Stay eight hours and it beats zone A on the kerb: 50 zł against 57. Galeria Dominikańska charges 8 zł for each of the first three hours, then 9 zł, under a 2.10 m entrance, but it shuts at night and on public holidays. Nowy Targ is 9 zł, then 12 zł an hour, 120 zł a day.
Nowy Targ is the one I'd skip. A day in Wrocław is a 50 zł day under the NFM.

Towed in Wrocław: Na Grobli, building C, and cash in hand
1. Ring 986 first
The city guard (Straż Miejska) answers 986 around the clock. They tell you whether the car was towed and why. The city's crisis centre is on 71 770 22 22; the police are on 112.
2. Get the release on Na Grobli
The guard's front office at Na Grobli 14–16, building C issues the release 24 hours a day, every day. Bring ID and the registration document. The yard's address isn't published; the guard tells you where the car is.
3. Bring 450 zł in cash
Since 15 May 2024 a tow is 400 zł and storage 50 zł a day, paid in cash when you collect. One night and you're at 450 zł, before any parking charge. If the truck hasn't left yet, stopping the tow costs 200 zł.
The classic mistake is leaving the registration document in the glovebox. Ring the guard and they arrange access.

EV charging in Wrocław: Free kerb for EVs, and 20 bays under the NFM
1. Park an EV free in the zone
ZDiUM's list of exempt vehicles includes electric and hydrogen cars: they pay nothing in the paid zones. It doesn't say how a warden recognises a foreign EV without Poland's green plates. I'd keep the registration document where I can show it.
2. Charge under the concert hall
The NFM car park has 20 EV bays, run through the EloCity app. Interparking publishes no kWh price, and the parking is still 50 zł for 24 hours.
3. Check EIPA before you set off
Poland's official charger register, EIPA, run by the technical inspection office UDT, maps public points that passed inspection and shows which are free right now. It doesn't show prices; the operator's app does. The car park under Centennial Hall also lists charging, without a count.
The NFM is where I'd charge: plug in, walk to the Rynek, collect it after dinner.
Where to charge
- Paid-zone exemption for EVs — All paid parking zones in Wrocław. ZDiUM's list of exempt vehicles includes electric and hydrogen cars. It doesn't say how a foreign EV without Polish green plates is recognised
- Parking NFM — 20 EV bays — Parking NFM, plac Wolności 1. Charging through the EloCity app; Interparking publishes no kWh price. Parking is still 50 zł for 24 hours
- EIPA, Poland's official charger register — eipa.udt.gov.pl — map of public points that passed UDT inspection. Shows which points are working and free right now; it does not show prices
Free parking in Wrocław: Park and ride on a 24-hour ticket
1. Buy a 24-hour ticket, then park
More than 30 park-and-ride sites hold 2,874 spaces, all free. Thirteen have barriers that open only for an MPK transport ticket valid 24 hours or longer, which you pay for; the rest have no barrier. Stadion Wrocław and Leśnica are on the tourist board's list.
2. Expect a 02:00–04:00 shutdown
The sites close for maintenance between 02:00 and 04:00, and no overnight rule is published. I treat them as day parking.
3. Use the outer zone at weekends
The outer zone is free on Saturday, Sunday and after 18:00 on weekdays. A and B aren't. For a free night, Hotel Sleep at Kominiarska 33 says on its own site that parking is completely free. The two ibis budget hotels I checked charge extra.
If you remember one thing: zones A and B charge on Sunday. Every price on this page was checked on 5 October 2026.
